A Message from Your Town Supervisor

Hello Franklinville Friends and Neighbors,
It is an honor to serve as the Town Supervisor for Franklinville, a role I have proudly held since 2024. I first moved to Franklinville in 1993 after growing up in Little Valley.  I graduated from TBA in 1998. From 2000 to 2016, I lived and worked in Olean before returning to Franklinville — the community I have always considered home. I am passionate about preserving our strong sense of community, supporting local businesses, protecting our agricultural way of life, and upholding the small-town values that make Franklinville such a wonderful place to live.

As Supervisor, I help manage the daily operations of the Town, oversee the budget, and work closely with the Town Board to ensure decisions are made in the best interest of our entire community. I also represent Franklinville at the county and state levels to ensure our needs and priorities are always heard.

My Goals as Supervisor

* Keep Franklinville a safe, welcoming town for everyone

* Be responsible and transparent with your tax dollars
* Support local businesses, future growth, and help strengthen and revitalize our agricultural roots so family farms can continue to be a part of Franklinville's future.
* Maintain open communication between residents and town government

Agriculture is a vital part of who we are as a community — from family farms to agricultural businesses that help strengthen our economy. I am committed to supporting and protecting these operations so they can continue to grow, innovate, and provide opportunities for future generations.
In addition to serving as Supervisor, I am the Principal Medicaid Examiner for the Cattaraugus County Department of Social Services. Over my 26-year career, I have worked in multiple departments and programs, including Community Services, Temporary Assistance, HEAP, Summer Youth Employment, SNAP, and the Accounting Unit. These experiences have strengthened my passion for public service and my dedication to helping individuals and families throughout our region.
Outside of work, I can often be found cheering on my daughter at her music and sports events, spending time with family, and enjoying walks and hikes throughout our beautiful town and village.
I believe in accessible government, fiscal responsibility, and working together to move our community forward. Your ideas and feedback are always welcome. If you have a question, concern, or suggestion — or simply want to share your thoughts — please don’t hesitate to reach out.
We are at our best when we work together.
Thank you for being a vital part of what makes Franklinville special.
See you around town!

Warmly,
Catie Campbell
